Executive Assistant

We are a firm of tax professionals that specialize in US and cross-border tax matters. We are located in Steveston Village in Richmond, BC with remote offices in Ottawa and Calgary. We have a staff of 17 people. W.L. Dueck & Co. LLP is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to work with Warren Dueck and our team of US and cross-border tax professionals and administrative support staff to serve our clients.


Responsibilities

Coordinating client projects with our team to ensure on time completion of projects; Assisting with billing and collection activities; Planning office meetings for staff, managers and partners; Preparing and reviewing correspondence; Generate and monitor Practice CS reports to assist in practice management;
Support sales and marketing efforts including development of firm profile on internet and other activities; Liaising with team members and clients; Writing reports and development of presentations; Other administrative functions as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Administrative certificate or equivalent education and experience working in a professional environment;

  • Experience in administrative support at an executive level;

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

  • Ability to foster and maintain effective relationships with all levels of staff;

  • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel is required;

  • Ability to handle a heavy workload and broad range of tasks, and

  • Highly motivated and takes initiative to solve issues.
